Two weeks ago I got Faro's front legs x-rayed. The right elbow was really weird looking and one toe in the left leg was supposed to be amputated.

Monday, last week, I took the pictures to an orthopedic, who told me the right leg would have to be amputated, there was a cancer tumor in the elbow. Faro wasn't using the right leg anymore at all and the left leg must have been really sore too. The amputation of the right leg was not an option for a big dog with a toe missing from the other front leg.

Tuesday, a week ago, was Faro's last day. He got to eat meatballs and an ice cream, he got to bathe in the sun and hunt mice.

Now Faro is the most handsome boy running on the rainbow bridge. Brightest of all the stars in the sky. Our time together was too short but a big personality left a huge hole behind. We miss you.
