Yesterday was the queen's day, which means the streets fill up with people, some selling something, some buying, some performing, some just partying, but everyone's dressed in orange. I went with Sanna to her work in the morning to print some papers and walked back. Then the streets were still quite quiet, but there were already tables full of second-hand stuff, orange items, clothes and so on...something for everyone.

All the shops were closed so the shopping streets like Kalverstraat here, were empty.

I don't know where this was, but here you can see some tables on the street.

And Vijzelstraat a little later...

They actually had to close the Amsterdam Centraal train station, cause there were so much people, that they couldn't fit in the trains and started walking on the tracks :O

I took it easy for the rest of the day, watched children's programs from the tv and took Wall-e out. Sanna came home after six and later in the evening we headed for a party at a house boat.
