Eilen oli Guyn eläinlääkäriaika. Tom heitti minut koirineni Käpylään, josta matka jatkui kävellen kohti Koskelaa Kirsin ja Sonyn seurassa. Eläinlääkäriasema (VETEK) on ihan Saran naapurissa, joten jätin Guyn Kirsille hetkeksi ja vein Wimmin ja Busterin Saran luo odottamaan. Kirsi ja Sony jatkoivat siitä sitten takaisin kotiin päin. Guylla ei ollut aavistustakaan mihin se joutuu ;)

Eläinlääkärissä punnitsin pojan heti ensimmäisenä: 22,6 kg. Lääkäri tutki Guyn läpikotaisin ja antoi rokotukset.

Hampaat pitää puhdistaa, oli aika paljon hammaskiveä

Sydän terve ja vahva

Jalat...etujalat on kunnossa, takajalat muuten ok, mutta kintereet on aikas jäykkänä eli pitäisi nyt jonkun aikaa välttää spurtteja (=ei vapaana pinkomista)...kävely tekee hyvää ja venytellä saa varovasti päivittäin.

Silmät näyttävät vähän harmailta, mutta kaihista ei ole kyse :). Olen huomannutkin, ettei se oikein hämärässä tahdo nähdä kunnolla.

Kysyin myös syylistä, niitä ei ole pakko poistaa, mutta voidaan mahdollisesti sitten samalla napata pois kun putsataan hampaatkin.

Eli perusteellinen terveystarkastus, nelirokote ja rabies maksoivat yhteensä 61€, ei paha hinta ja palvelukin oli todella ystävällistä, voin siis suositella VETEKiä :)

I took Guy to the vet yesterday. Tom gave me and the dogs a ride to Käpylä, where we walked to Koskela with Kirsi and Sony. The veterinarystation (VETEK) is almost in Sara's neighbour so I left Guy with Kirsi for a little while to take Wimmi and Buster to wait at Sara's place. Kirsi and Sony continued back home then. Guy had no idea where we were going ;)

At the veterinarystation I weighed him first: 22,6 kg. The vet checked Guy through and gave him the vaccinations.

Teeth need to be cleaned

Heart sounded healthy and strong 

Legs...the front legs are ok, but the rear legs' achilles tendons are quite stiff so no running for a while...walking is good  and I should strech them carefully every day. Otherwise the legs are good 

Eyes are a bit grey, but that's only because of the age, not any disease  I have noticed he doesn't see well in the dark.

Full health inspection and vaccinations (rabies and the other one) 61€, not bad and the service was very friendly so I can warmly recommend VETEK :)

 

 

Lääkärikäynnin jälkeen maistellaan rahkaa :) Varovainen aloitus...
