18.6. Sanna asuu ihan suuren puiston, Vondelparkin laidalla, joten Amsterdamissa ollessamme olemme suunnanneet lenkkimme yllättäen sinne. Vondelparkissa koiria saa käsittääkseni ihan luvan kanssa pitää vapaana! Vaikka koirat eivät ole hihnassa, homma toimii yllättävän hyvin. Kytkettyjä koiria ei mennä moikkaamaan, vapaana olevat voidaan käydä haistelemassa ja jos hyvin käy, saattaa jopa löytää juoksukaverin hetkeksi :D

Vondelparkissa on paljon lintuja. Siis todella paljon. Buster on jahdannut sorsia, hanhia, harakoita, haikaroita ja ties mitä muita siivekkäitä. Ja uinut...

Torstaina kävimme Tomin ja Esterin kanssa myös Amsterdamin keskustassa vähän shoppailemassa. Parit puukenkätohvelit lähtivät taas mukaan, toiset tuliaisiksi Wilman hoitajalla ja toiset minulle (ostan joka kerta uudet kun käyn Amsterdamissa...ne on vaan maailman parhaat jalassa...). Ester löysi itselleen bikinit ja Hannalle aurinkolasit.

18.6. Sanna lives right by a big park, Vondelpark, so we have suprisingly been walking mostly there while staying in Amsterdam. If I've understood right it is allowed to keep dogs loose there! Even though dogs aren't kept on leash, it works really well. You just don't go to dogs that are on leash, but you can go to an unleashed dog and if it works out well, you might just get a running pal for a while :D

There are a lot of birds in Vondelpark. A lot. Buster has been chacing ducks, geese, magpies, herons and a dozen more of our winged friends. And swimming...

On thursday we also went to Amsterdam center with Tom and Ester. We bought two pairs of woodenshoe-slippers, one pair for the friend who's taking care of Wilma and the other pair for myself (I always buy a pair of them when I'm in Amsterdam...they are just the best slippers ever...). Ester found herself a new bikini and sunglasses for Hanna.

19.6. Tapasimme Vondelparkissa aamupäivällä galgon. Se oli vuoden ikäinen uros, Espanjasta tullut rescue. Todella hyväkuntoinen ja leikkisä :) Harmittaa kun en ottanut kuvia tai videota sen ja Busterin riehumisista...

Aamupuistoilun jälkeen lähdimme ajamaan Renkumiin, Etelä-Hollantiin Tomin kaverin luo. Me jatkoimme sieltä Esterin ja Busterin kanssa junalla Bredaan moikkaamaan Marikaa. Buster oli ilmeisesti aika väsynyt kaikesta uimisesta, juoksemisesta ja uusista hajuista, sillä poika nukkui kuin tukki koko 1,5 tunnin junamatkan. Perillä käveltiin lähimpään ruokakauppaan, ostettiin vähän herkkuja ja mentiin puistoon piknikille :) Ilma oli hitusen viileä, joten siirryimme hetken päästä Marikan luo. Buster nukkui myös siellä minkä kerkesi.

19.6. We met a galgo in Vondelpark. It was a one year old male, a rescue from Spain. He was really good looking and playful :) It's a pitty I didn't take any pictures or a video of him and Buster playing...

After the morning walk we drove to Renkum in southern Holland to visit Tom's friend. Me and Ester took a train from there to Breda and went to see my friend Marika. Buster was obviously a bit tired after all the swimming, running and new scents and slept the whole 1,5 hour train journey. In Breda we walked to the nearest grocery store, bought some cookies and went to a park for a picnic :) The weather was a bit cold and after a while we took a bus to Marika's place. Buster slept there too.

 

20.6. Kävimme Haarlemin (n. 20 km Amsterdamista) torilla. Buster oli mukana, mutta istui Tomin kanssa kahvilassa sillä aikaa kun minä, Ester ja Sanna kiersimme kojuja, sillä kaikki ihanat tuoksut olivat sille vähän liikaa :/ Ostimme torilta Busterille 10 lehmän kinttua 3,90€, minulle feikki-crocsit 6€ ja Sannalle tuoretta ananasmehua.

20.6. We went to Haarlem (about 20 km from Amsterdam) market. Buster was with us, but stayed at a cafe with Tom while me, Ester and Sanna were going around the market area, cause all the wonderful scents were a bit too much for him :/ From the market we bought 10 cow feet for Buster (3,90€), fake-crocs for me (6€) and fresh pineapple-juice for Sanna.
