14.6. starttasimme Helsingistä kuuden aikoihin aamulla kohti Naantalia, josta meillä lähti laiva 9.30 Kapellskäriin. Laivamatka maksoi kaikkiaan 150€ ja siihen kuului auto, kaksi ihmistä, koira, eläinhytti ja kaksi ateriaa laivassa! Ei paha. Buster otti hytissä rennosti. Tom kävi ostamassa sille ennen lähtöä Ikeasta oman matkapedin, jotta sillä on oma paikka mukana joka paikassa :) Siellä se nukkui tyytyväisenä kun me kävimme syömässä, eikä pitänyt mitään meteliä (toisin kuin naapurihytin koira).

Hiekkalaatikolla käynti oli Busterin mielestä vähintäänkin epäilyttävää, kuka sitä nyt sisälle pissii?!? No pissaaminen kuitenkin onnistui hiekkiksellä, mutta kakka sai odottaa maankamaraa...

14.6. at about 6 a.m. we started our journey from Helsinki to Naantali, from where our boat was to leave at 9.30 a.m. to Kapellskär, Sweden. The boat trip cost only 150€ and it included a car, two persons, a dog, a pet cabin, breakfast and dinner! Not bad. Buster took it easy in the cabin. Tom had bought him a travel bed from Ikea before we left so he would have an own place with him where ever we go :) There he slept satisfied while we went to breakfast and dinner and didn't keep any noise at all (unlike the dog from the cabin next door).

Buster thought the sandbox was quite suspicious, who would pee indoors?!? Well, the peeing did work out finally, but number two had to wait till we were ashore...

Saavuimme Kapellskäriin joskus viiden jälkeen ja ajoimme siitä Tukholmaan päin (vajaa 100 km). Matkalla poikkesimme Tomin tuttujen luo kahville. Tai siis tarkoitus oli vain poiketa pikaisesti kahville, mutta jäimmekin myös syömään ja olimme Tukholmassa vasta illalla. Jäimme Tukholmaan Tomin kaverin luo yöksi. Illalla ja seuraavana aamuna kävelin Busterssonin kanssa ihanaa rantatietä pitkät lenkit. Iltalenkillä tosin satoi, mutta eipä tuo Busterin menoa haitannut ;)

We arrived in Kapellskär after five pm and started driving toward Stockholm (less than 100 km). On the way we dropped by to Tom's friends house for a cup of coffee. Or the meaning was to just drop by for a quick cup of coffee but we ended up eating there too, so we wheren't in Stockholm until late in the evening. We stayed in Stockholm for the night. In that evening and the next morning I took Buster for long walks on a beautiful road along a river. On the evening walk it was raining but it didn't slow Buster down at all ;)

 

 

15.6. Aamulenkin jälkeen ajoimme Södertäljeen hakemaan Tomin nuoremman tyttären, Esterin, mukaan matkaan. Siitä alkoikin piiiiitkä ajomatka Ruotsin, Tanskan ja Saksan läpi Hollantiin.

After the morning walk we drove to Södertälje to get Tom's younger daughter, Ester, with us. There begin the loooooong ride through Sweden, Denmark and Germany to Holland.

Helsingborg, josta otimme lautan Tanskaan. Ylitys kesti n. 30 minuuttia.

Lauttamatka Tanskasta Saksaan kesti tunnin. Saksassa olimme auringonlaskun aikaan ja ajoimme koko yön.

The ferry trip from Denmark to Germany took an hour. We were in Germany at sunset and drove all night.

 

 

Taukoja pidettiin pitkin matkaa, mutta Saksassa piti pysähtyä tankkaamaan myös Buster :P

We held short breaks along the journey, but in Germany we stopped to feed Buster too :P

 

 

Aamun sarastaessa olimmekin jo Hollannin puolella.

At dawn we were already in the Netherlands.
